The first week of filming of the film "The Golden Thread '" is already over in the streets of the city and the Ibero-Roman event stars in one of the scenes.
It has already been a week since the start of filming, in Linares, of the film "The golden thread", the work of the film director Tomás Aceituno. The feature film is taking shape in different streets and corners of the city and to date the recording process is developing "satisfactorily, without problems or inconveniences, everything is very measured thanks to the great work being done by the technical and artistic team and to the collaboration of citizens ".
This is how Enrique Mendoza, Councilor for Tourism of the Linares City Council, valued it, who also highlighted the "prominence" that the Iberian Roman Festivities of Cástulo and its parade had in one of the scenes shot by Aceituno, without forgetting the projection that it will give to the municipality this film project promoted by the Linar director.
"Both the participants of the Cástulo Festivities and the extras were spectacular, their behavior was exemplary at all times of the recording and they were very happy and excited to appear in the film. Furthermore, it is worth noting that all the necessary measures were taken. safety and prevention, the temperature was taken and hydroalcoholic gel was distributed. Without a doubt, it is being an unforgettable experience, "said Mendoza.
The Councilor for Tourism, who is having fluid contact with the members of the filming team of 'The Golden Thread', shares the impressions that Linares and his people are leaving between all of them. "They are delighted with the city and with the treatment they receive from the locals. In addition, they are taking advantage of their free time to learn in depth about aspects such as our gastronomy, highlighting above all the tapas," said the mayor.
With regard to the recording work itself, just seven days ago it began at the El Pósito facilities, to later shoot on the Paseo de Linarejos, inside a private home, in the Corredera de San Marcos or in the Hospital de los Marquises, just yesterday. With a view to the next few weeks, the "The Golden Thread" team will pass through other designated places such as the plenary hall of the Madrid Station, the Municipal Palace, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento or the surroundings of the Basilica of Santa María, among others. .
That is why, as reported by the municipal area of Tourism, there will be occasional street cuts intermittently during the moments that are dedicated to the recording of the different scenes.
Along these lines, the City Council once again requests the collaboration of the Linar population for the correct development of the filming, in the same way that many neighbors - around 700 - were willing from the first moment to support the film through their request to participate as extra characters in it.
"The Golden Thread", by Tomás Aceituno from Linar, is a social drama based on real events about the story of Claudia, a young lawyer who works on the case of some gypsy grandparents who want to recover their granddaughter, who lives with a host family, to be the ones who take care of their custody. The director, who set himself the challenge of making a committed and social, non-commercial film, has built the script by being in contact with the people to whom these things have happened, he has gotten into their lives "to tell a real story that it is happening to some grandparents from Seville and Cádiz ".
Among the film's interpreters are Cristina Mediero, Paco Roma, Eva Pedraza, Amanda Ferrer, Juan G. Verdú and Nieves de la Luz, Carlos J. Guardia, José Manuel Montes, Terry Bordiu and Mar Campra. The original song of the film will be performed by the well-known singer Estrella Morente and the filming will last 35 days, until August 15. This project has the support of the Linares City Council and the Junta de Andalucía through Turismo Andaluz.
The actress Cristina Mediero is in charge of giving life to Claudia, the main character of 'The golden thread'. A role that the interpreter herself described as "a challenge" in her career, since "she goes through many states, has many physical and psychological problems and to which many very serious things happen and she has to learn to overcome". "She creates herself, reinvents herself and evolves, so she can help other characters in the movie once she has gotten over herself," she added when the film was released.
One day before the start of filming, an official ceremony was organized from the Department of Tourism to welcome Linares to the cast of "The Golden Thread". Thus, the leading actors and actresses of the feature film went through the red carpet of the La Tortuga Azul complex and signed the movie poster as a souvenir.
