LIVE THE THEATER IN A UNIQUE ARCHAEOLOGICAL ENCLAVE

The Cástulo Theater Festival It is an event that aims to highlight the past of the ancient city of Cástulo through the most representative classical works of the Roman era, highlighting the theater as one of the main activities.

One of the attractions of this event is the incomparable setting in which some of the plays are held: the Archaeological Ensemble of Cástulo. These theater days allow us to transmit history and our impressive archaeological heritage through the performing arts. The performances take place both in the Cástulo site and in the Linares municipal theater, which allows promoting the connection between the current city and the Ibero-Roman site, as well as diversifying the program of the Cástulo Festivities, improving their quality, creativity and authenticity.
