PARADE OF TROOPS AND LEGIONS
Enjoy the Official Parade of Troops and Legions of the Iberian, Roman and Carthaginian cultures that will tour the most central streets of the city of Linares during the Cástulo Festival. An event carried out with the participation of the population of Linares and the collaboration of professionals and historical re-enactors from different parts of Spain.
FESTIVAL DE TEATRO
El Festival de Teatro de Cástulo es un evento que pretende poner en valor el pasado de la antigua ciudad de Cástulo por medio de las obras clásicas más representativas de la época romana, destacando el teatro como una de las principales actividades. Estas jornadas teatrales permiten transmitir la historia y nuestro imponente patrimonio arqueológico a través de las artes escénicas.

In the center of Linares there is an Ibero-Roman market where you can find crafts and products themed with the event such as wooden swords, jewelry, pieces with the symbols of Cástulo, etc. In addition, enjoy attractions and different activities such as musical parades, welcome dances to Caesar, gladiator fights, fire dances or sale of slaves, among others.
CAMPAMENTO ROMANO
The Roman legions have taken the city and have set up an authentic Roman camp in the heart of Linares. In this Roman military camp you will see legionnaires in uniform with segmental lorica, pilum and shields. Discover how the Roman army was organized and see what their customs were, how they trained and their weapons tests.
MERCURY DAYS
Durante los días de celebración, las calles de Linares se llenarán con diversas actividades infantiles, escenas de recreación histórica, teatralizaciones, etc. con el objetivo de lograr una dinamización comercial intensa a la vez que una efectiva promoción del evento. Además, podrás degustar una oferta gastronómica específica elaborada por los propios chefs linarenses.
